“Everything perfect – great trip and great price
Our safari with Safari Tanzania was unforgettable! Thanks to their collaboration with local providers, they offered us a huge selection of accommodations. While other providers were often hard to reach and had limited options, Safari Tanzania put together a tailor-made tour perfectly suited to our budget and preferences. We saw the Big Five and experienced the Great Migration! Our guide was top-notch, and the organization ran smoothly. Absolutely recommended for a personalized and affordable dream vacation!

Daily Descriptions

Day 1: Tarangire National Park
Karibu Tanzania! After breakfast, your guide will pick you up and your 3-day safari begins. The drive from Moshi to the Tarangire National Park takes about three hours – time to soak in the anticipation!
The park is named after the Tarangire River, which winds through the area and serves as the only water source for wildlife during the dry season. Covering an area of 2,850 square kilometers, the land of giants awaits you! Tarangire is famous for its massive elephant herds, majestic baobab trees, and – a rare highlight – tree-climbing African pythons.
Enjoy a full day of game drives with a picnic lunch overlooking the river. Watch elephants, lions, giraffes, and a diverse array of birdlife before heading to your overnight accommodation at sunset.

Day 2: Ngorongoro Crater
After breakfast, it's approximately a 30-minute drive to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area – a UNESCO World Heritage Site and the highlight of any 3-day safari!
On the way to the crater, you cross the Great Rift Valley and may already spot elephants, buffalo, zebras, and monkeys. Then, the breathtaking view of the crater opens up before you. Ngorongoro Crater begins – a massive volcanic caldera that formed two to three million years ago. With a depth of 610 meters and a crater floor of 260 square kilometers, it is a true natural wonder.
The descent into the crater leads you to Africa's Noah's Ark! Here lives the highest concentration of wildlife on the continent. The crater is the best place in all of Tanzania to spot the rare black rhinoceros. Keep an eye out for majestic black-maned lions, colorful flamingos, cheetahs, and hyenas. An unforgettable day!

Day 3: Lake Manyara National Park – Return to Arusha
Breakfast at 7:00 a.m., departure at 8:00 a.m. – the last day of your 3-day safari in Tanzania promises more special experiences! The 60-kilometer drive takes you to Lake Manyara National park at the foot of the Great Rift Valley.
This compact park of 330 square kilometers encompasses five distinct vegetation zones and boasts an impressive biodiversity. Lake Manyara is world-renowned for its tree-climbing lions – a rare phenomenon you might be lucky enough to witness. Large flocks of pink flamingos gather at the lake, providing a spectacular photo opportunity. Over 350 bird species have been recorded here!
Besides lions, you can expect to see hippos, elephants, zebras, buffalo, giraffes, and various monkey species. Optionally, you can also explore the park by canoe – a truly unique perspective! In the afternoon, you will be transferred back to Arusha or the airport. Your 3-day safari in Tanzania will come to an end, leaving you with a heart full of wonderful memories.

Customer testimonial
“Top-organized safari with fantastic memories
Safari Tanzania, as an intermediary, enabled us to have highly individualized planning and saved us the effort of comparing dozens of providers online. They adapted everything to our wishes, connected us with the ideal local team, and offered flexible, prompt support – a relaxed highlight full of lasting memories.
Many safari organizers pushed for a personal call, only to offer a package tour in the end. Safari Tanzania sent us an offer after the first email, which we then minimally adjusted and swapped out one accommodation. This saved my girlfriend and me a lot of effort. Thank you very much!
