“Everything perfect – great trip and great price

Our safari with Safari Tanzania was unforgettable! Thanks to their collaboration with local providers, they offered us a huge selection of accommodations. While other providers were often hard to reach and had limited options, Safari Tanzania put together a tailor-made tour perfectly suited to our budget and preferences. We saw the Big Five and experienced the Great Migration! Our guide was top-notch, and the organization ran smoothly. Absolutely recommended for a personalized and affordable dream vacation!

Daily Descriptions

Day 1: Arusha – Tarangire National Park

Welcome to Tanzania! Your adventure begins with a pick-up from your hotel in Arusha or directly from Kilimanjaro/Arusha Airport. After a short briefing, the journey begins to... Tarangire National Park.

Welcome to the land of giants! Tarangire is famous for its iconic baobab trees and Tanzania's largest elephant herds. On a full-day game drive across the vast savannah, you'll discover not only these majestic pachyderms, but also giraffes, zebras, lions, and an incredible variety of birdlife. The ancient baobab trees rise like silent sentinels against the African sky, creating a backdrop you'll never forget. In the late afternoon, you'll travel to Karatu – your 4-day safari in Tanzania has begun in spectacular fashion!

Day 2: Tarangire – Serengeti National Park

A day full of wow moments awaits you today! The drive to the legendary Serengeti takes you through the Ngorongoro Highlands. You stop at the crater rim for your first breathtaking view of the huge caldera - a foretaste of day 4.

Then the Serengeti unfolds before you – as far as the eye can see. "Siringet" means "endless plains" in the Maasai language, and that's exactly what you'll experience here. This 18,000 km² park is home to over 2 million large animals: more than a million wildebeest, hundreds of thousands of zebras, and Thomson's gazelles. This abundance of prey magically attracts lions, cheetahs, and hyenas. Add to that nearly 500 bird species! Enjoy extended game drives and spend the night in the heart of the wilderness – a true safari experience on your 4-day Tanzanian safari.

Day 3: Serengeti – Ngorongoro Highlands

An early start is especially worthwhile today! On the morning safari before breakfast, the animals are at their most active – and you'll experience one of the most beautiful sunrises of your life. As the golden rays bathe the African savanna in warm light, you'll understand why the Serengeti enchants people from all over the world.

After brunch at the camp, your journey continues to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. The crater is the eighth natural wonder of the world: 600-meter-high walls enclose a crater floor of 260 km². Nearly every animal species in East Africa lives here – including the rare black rhinoceros. The crater contains a river, swamps, a soda lake teeming with flamingos, forests, and open plains. The bull elephants here have the largest tusks you will ever see – thanks to the mineral-rich volcanic soil. You will reach the highlands in time for sunset.

Day 4: Ngorongoro Crater – Arusha

The grand finale of your 4-day safari in Tanzania! Very early in the morning, you will descend into the Ngorongoro Crater – one of the most incredible places on Earth.

Feel like you're on Noah's Ark! The caldera is home to the highest concentration of wildlife on the planet. Here you have the best chance of seeing all of the Big Five in a single day – lions, elephants, buffalo, leopards, and the critically endangered black rhino. At Hippo Lake, enjoy a picnic lunch and watch the hippos cooling off. After more game drives in the afternoon, you'll travel up the steep road out of the crater. With your heart full of unforgettable memories, you'll return to Arusha back or will be taken to the airport. Kwaheri – goodbye!

“Top-organized safari with fantastic memories

Safari Tanzania, as an intermediary, enabled us to have highly individualized planning and saved us the effort of comparing dozens of providers online. They adapted everything to our wishes, connected us with the ideal local team, and offered flexible, prompt support – a relaxed highlight full of lasting memories.

Many safari organizers pushed for a personal call, only to offer a package tour in the end. Safari Tanzania sent us an offer after the first email, which we then minimally adjusted and swapped out one accommodation. This saved my girlfriend and me a lot of effort. Thank you very much!
