“Everything perfect – great trip and great price
Our safari with Safari Tanzania was unforgettable! Thanks to their collaboration with local providers, they offered us a huge selection of accommodations. While other providers were often hard to reach and had limited options, Safari Tanzania put together a tailor-made tour perfectly suited to our budget and preferences. We saw the Big Five and experienced the Great Migration! Our guide was top-notch, and the organization ran smoothly. Absolutely recommended for a personalized and affordable dream vacation!

Daily Descriptions

Day 1: Arrival in Arusha
Your 4-day safari in Tanzania begins with your arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) or Arusha Airport. Here you will receive a warm welcome and be transferred to your accommodation in Arusha, the gateway to the famous national parks of northern Tanzania.
Use the rest of the day to relax and prepare for the adventure ahead. Arusha is picturesquely situated at the foot of Mount Meru and offers the perfect starting point for your safari. In the evening, you will receive a detailed briefing about the days ahead.

Day 2: Arusha and Serengeti National Park
Your adventure begins early in the morning at 7:30 am! The journey takes you through the spectacular Rift Valley and the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, offering breathtaking views of the crater along the way. After approximately 7-8 hours, you will reach the legendary Serengeti around 3:00 pm.
Welcome to the heart of the wilderness! The name comes from the Maasai language and means "endless plains." This afternoon, your first game drive awaits you in the central Serengeti. Observe the iconic Great Migration of wildebeest, zebras, and various antelope species. Enjoy an unforgettable sunset over the savanna—a magical moment that will make this 4-day safari in Tanzania truly memorable!

Day 3: Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater
A day full of highlights! Start early at 5:45 am and experience one of the most beautiful sunrises of your life over the Serengeti. Afterwards, enjoy an extensive morning game drive until 11:30 am through the "big cat capital" of Africa.
The Serengeti is home to an impressive array of wildlife: giraffes, elephants, hippos, lions, and over 500 bird species, including ostriches and flamingos. After lunch, you will continue your game drive and travel on to the rim of the Ngorongoro Crater. Enjoy your first glimpse down into the vast caldera, a UNESCO World Heritage Site considered one of the eighth wonders of the world.

Day 4: Ngorongoro Crater and Arusha
The grand finale of your 4-day safari in Tanzania! The descent into the mountains begins at 5:30 am. Ngorongoro Crater, the largest intact volcanic caldera in the world, formed 2.5 million years ago.
On the crater floor live approximately 25,000 large mammals in a very small area: 6,000 wildebeest, 4,000 hyenas, 2,000 zebras, 200 elephants, and over 30 lions. Here you have an excellent chance of spotting all of the Big Five, including the rare black rhinoceros! Enjoy a picnic lunch by the flamingo-filled lakes. After 6-7 hours of exploration, you will leave this natural paradise and drive back to Arusha. Your safari ends with a heart full of memories!

Customer testimonial
“Top-organized safari with fantastic memories
Safari Tanzania, as an intermediary, enabled us to have highly individualized planning and saved us the effort of comparing dozens of providers online. They adapted everything to our wishes, connected us with the ideal local team, and offered flexible, prompt support – a relaxed highlight full of lasting memories.
Many safari organizers pushed for a personal call, only to offer a package tour in the end. Safari Tanzania sent us an offer after the first email, which we then minimally adjusted and swapped out one accommodation. This saved my girlfriend and me a lot of effort. Thank you very much!
