Day 1: Arrival at Kilimanjaro Airport – Welcome to Tanzania
Karibu Tanzania! After landing at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you'll be given a warm welcome by your private guide. The scent of Africa hangs in the air as you're driven to your accommodation in Arusha ...you'll be brought to.
If you arrive in the morning or afternoon, you'll have the chance to visit the nearby Napuru Waterfall – a perfect start to your romantic journey! Round off your first evening in relaxed style and look forward to the adventure ahead. Your 10-day trip to Tanzania is ready to begin!
Day 2: Arusha – Tarangire National Park
After an early breakfast, you'll set off for Tarangire National Park – the land of giants! This extraordinary park takes its name from the Tarangire River, a lifeline for countless animals during the dry season.
Marvel at the breathtaking landscapes of dense vegetation, elephant grass and acacia woodland. Tarangire is famous for the huge elephant families that gather at the river – the largest concentration in all of Tanzania! Day 3: Lake Manyara National Park

Framed by the dramatic Rift Valley escarpment and picturesque Lake Manyara, the park offers a fascinating variety of landscapes. From savannah to evergreen forest, you'll discover giraffes, zebras, wildebeest and elephants. With a little luck, you'll spot the famous lions high up in the trees – a sight you'll never forget! After an extended game drive, the journey continues to Karatu.
Day 4: Karatu – Ngorongoro Crater
An absolute highlight of your 10-day trip to Tanzania! After an early breakfast, the legendary Ngorongoro Craterawaits. Descend almost 600 metres into this natural wonder, formed millions of years ago by a volcanic explosion.
The crater floor is like Noah's Ark – populated by vast herds of wildebeest, zebras and gazelles. With over 500 bird species, the crater is a paradise for birdwatchers. Keep an eye out for the rare black rhino on the open grasslands – this is one of the best places in the world to see one! Days 5–6: Safari in the Serengeti
