“Everything perfect – great trip and great price
Our safari with Safari Tanzania was unforgettable! Thanks to their collaboration with local providers, they offered us a huge selection of accommodations. While other providers were often hard to reach and had limited options, Safari Tanzania put together a tailor-made tour perfectly suited to our budget and preferences. We saw the Big Five and experienced the Great Migration! Our guide was top-notch, and the organization ran smoothly. Absolutely recommended for a personalized and affordable dream vacation!

Day 2: Safari in Arusha National Park
Today you'll discover one of Tanzania's hidden gems! Arusha National Park impresses with lush forests, dramatic landscapes and varied wildlife – all against the majestic backdrop of Mount Meru. On your game drive, you'll encounter giraffes, buffalo, zebras and the shy colobus monkeys with their striking black-and-white coats.
The romantic highlight of the day: a canoe safari on the Momella Lakes! Glide together across the calm water as flamingos create a sea of pink and hippos peer curiously out of the water. A magical start to your honeymoon safari, and the first of many unforgettable smiles!

Day 3-4: Safari in Tarangire National Park
The next two days belong to the land of giants! Tarangire National Park s famous for the huge elephant herds that gather at the river of the same name – the park's lifeline during the dry season. Watch these gentle giants dig for water in the riverbed, surrounded by majestic, ancient baobab trees.
The park's varied ecosystems – from dense acacia woodland to open grassland – are home to giraffes, impalas, lions and hyenas. A special experience awaits: take a night safari and discover the park's nocturnal residents! For the more adventurous, there's also a walking safari, letting you experience Africa's wilderness up close on foot.

Day 5: Safari in Lake Manyara National Park
Today a park of superlatives awaits! Lake Manyara Nationalparis world-famous for its tree-climbing lions – a rare phenomenon that will leave you amazed. Watch these majestic big cats resting in the branches of the acacias to escape the midday heat.
At the alkaline lake, another natural spectacle awaits: thousands of flamingos turn the shoreline a vivid pink as they feed on the lake's algae. Elephants, giraffes, zebras and buffalo roam the landscape, and with a little luck you'll spot an elusive leopard in the dense greenery. The wonderfully varied landscapes – from lush forest to open savannah – make this day of your 14-day safari in Tanzania truly unforgettable!

Day 6: Cultural Experience at Lake Eyasi
A day that adds a unique cultural dimension to your safari! Early in the morning, you'll set off for Lake Eyasi, where you'll visit the Hadzabe people – one of Africa's last hunter-gatherer communities.
Immerse yourself in a way of life that has remained unchanged for thousands of years. During a hunting demonstration, you'll learn the Hadzabe's traditional survival techniques: tracking game, the art of archery, and gathering wild fruits and roots. These proud people have preserved their rich cultural heritage and share it with you in an authentic and respectful way. An unforgettable insight into the story of humankind!

Days 7–11: Safari in the Serengeti (5 days)
Welcome to the pulse of the wild, with five full days in the heart of the legendary Serengeti! The name comes from the Maasai language and means "endless plain" – and today you'll understand why this place is regarded as one of the greatest natural wonders on Earth.
The drive into the Serengeti takes you through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, with breathtaking views of the Rift Valley. In the afternoon, you'll reach your camp and set off straight away on your first game drive across the golden savannah.
The days that follow are dedicated to the ultimate safari experience. The Serengeti is home to over 4,000 lions, 1,000 leopards and 3,500 hyenas – the highest predator density in Africa. Depending on the season, you'll witness the legendary Great Migration: from June to September you can watch the dramatic river crossings at the Mara River in the north, while from January to March the calving season in the southern Serengeti offers spectacular scenes.
Romantic extras for couples: float above the savannah on a balloon safari and follow it with a champagne breakfast in the bush. Enjoy a romantic bush dinner beneath Africa's breathtaking canopy of stars.

Day 12: From the Serengeti to the Ngorongoro Crater
After a final breakfast in the Serengeti, your journey to the next highlight begins. But first, an extended game drive is on the programme. Make the most of every chance for a last few spectacular wildlife sightings in this UNESCO World Heritage Site!
The drive takes you through shifting landscapes as the endless plains gradually give way to the highlands of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Once at the crater rim, a view opens up before you that's almost too good to be true: 600 metres below lies the "Eighth Wonder of the World," a lost paradise teeming with wildlife. Enjoy the sunset over the crater – the perfect setting for romantic moments for two!

Day 13: Safari in the Ngorongoro Crater and Return
The crowning finale of your 14-day safari in Tanzania! After an early breakfast, you'll descend into the Ngorongoro Crater, the largest intact volcanic caldera in the world, formed around 2.5 million years ago. This crater has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1979 and is home to the densest population of large mammals on the entire African continent.
It's like stepping into Noah's Ark! Around 25,000 animals live on the roughly 260-square-kilometre crater floor (the highest predator density in Africa!). Here you have the best chance of spotting all of the Big Five in a single day: lions, elephants, buffalo, leopards and the rare black rhino. A picnic at the Hippo Pool, surrounded by the sounds of the wild, rounds off this magical day.
In the afternoon, you'll leave the crater and drive back to Arusha, where you'll spend your final evening in Tanzania.

Day 14: Departure from Kilimanjaro Airport
The final day of your 14-day safari in Tanzania has arrived. After breakfast, you'll be taken to Kilimanjaro International Airport. Take a moment to look back on all the unforgettable experiences – the romantic sunsets, the majestic wildlife sightings, the cultural encounters and the magic of the African wilderness.
With a heart full of memories, you'll set off for home. Your honeymoon safari comes to an end, but the images and feelings of this journey will stay with you forever. Tanzania has found a place in your heart – and perhaps one day you'll return!

Customer testimonial
“Top-organized safari with fantastic memories
Safari Tanzania, as an intermediary, enabled us to have highly individualized planning and saved us the effort of comparing dozens of providers online. They adapted everything to our wishes, connected us with the ideal local team, and offered flexible, prompt support – a relaxed highlight full of lasting memories.
Many safari organizers pushed for a personal call, only to offer a package tour in the end. Safari Tanzania sent us an offer after the first email, which we then minimally adjusted and swapped out one accommodation. This saved my girlfriend and me a lot of effort. Thank you very much!
