“Everything perfect – great trip and great price
Our safari with Safari Tanzania was unforgettable! Thanks to their collaboration with local providers, they offered us a huge selection of accommodations. While other providers were often hard to reach and had limited options, Safari Tanzania put together a tailor-made tour perfectly suited to our budget and preferences. We saw the Big Five and experienced the Great Migration! Our guide was top-notch, and the organization ran smoothly. Absolutely recommended for a personalized and affordable dream vacation!

Daily Descriptions

Day 1: Lake Manyara National Park
Welcome to Tanzania! Your 2-day Tanzanian safari begins with a pick-up from your hotel in Arusha or Moshi. The approximately four-hour drive to Lake Manyara National park is already an experience – the imposing Rift Valley Escarpment rises on the horizon, forming a breathtaking backdrop for the glittering lake.
In the afternoon, you'll embark on your first game drive – the best time for wildlife viewing in this park! Monkeys leap from branch to branch in the tall trees of the groundwater forest, while elephants stand in the shade of the acacias. Lake Manyara is world-famous for its tree-climbing lions – a rare phenomenon you might be lucky enough to witness. Keep an eye out, too, for zebras, giraffes, buffalo, hippos, and the vibrant flamingos that transform the soda lake into a pink sea. A truly magical experience awaits.

Day 2: Ngorongoro Crater
The highlight of your 2-day Tanzanian safari awaits! After just a 30-minute drive, you will reach the gateway to... Ngorongoro Crater. On the eastern side, a spectacular view opens up over the Rift Valley – elephants, buffalo and zebras are already grazing on the crater rim.
Then comes the magical moment: the descent into the world's largest intact caldera. Feel like you're on Noah's Ark! The Ngorongoro Crater is undoubtedly the best place in Tanzania to spot the rare black rhinoceros. Observe prides of lions with majestic black-maned males, colorful flamingos at the crater lake, and an incredible variety of wildlife – leopards, cheetahs, hyenas, and numerous antelope species. After a picnic lunch in the crater with unforgettable views, you'll return to Arusha or Moshi in the late afternoon. Your heart full of memories, your 2-day Tanzanian safari comes to an end.

Customer testimonial
“Top-organized safari with fantastic memories
Safari Tanzania, as an intermediary, enabled us to have highly individualized planning and saved us the effort of comparing dozens of providers online. They adapted everything to our wishes, connected us with the ideal local team, and offered flexible, prompt support – a relaxed highlight full of lasting memories.
Many safari organizers pushed for a personal call, only to offer a package tour in the end. Safari Tanzania sent us an offer after the first email, which we then minimally adjusted and swapped out one accommodation. This saved my girlfriend and me a lot of effort. Thank you very much!
