Customer testimonial
“Everything perfect – great trip and great price
Our safari with Safari Tanzania was unforgettable! Thanks to their collaboration with local providers, they offered us a huge selection of accommodations. While other providers were often hard to reach and had limited options, Safari Tanzania put together a tailor-made tour perfectly suited to our budget and preferences. We saw the Big Five and experienced the Great Migration! Our guide was top-notch, and the organization ran smoothly. Absolutely recommended for a personalized and affordable dream vacation!

Daily Descriptions

Day 1: Arusha – Tarangire National Park
Welcome to Tanzania! Your 2-day Tanzania safari begins with pick-up from your hotel in Arusha or directly from the airport. The approximately three-hour drive takes you to Tarangire National Park – a true paradise for animal lovers, covering an area of 2,850 km².
The park takes its name from the Tarangire River, which is the only water source for the wildlife during the dry season. This is precisely what makes this place so magical! Huge herds of elephants gather here – Tarangire is home to one of the largest elephant populations in Tanzania. The landscape is dominated by ancient baobab trees, which appear like sentinels from another time. Keep an eye out for the famous tree-climbing pythons, too! After a picnic lunch overlooking the river, you'll continue your game drive until sunset.

Day 2: Ngorongoro Crater – Arusha
The crowning highlight of your 2-day Tanzania safari! After breakfast, you will travel to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area – a UNESCO World Heritage Site that is second to none.
The main attraction is the Ngorongoro Crater begins The crater itself is a vast, intact volcanic caldera, formed two to three million years ago when a massive volcano exploded and collapsed in on itself. The crater is 610 meters deep, and its floor covers 260 square kilometers. Feel like you're on Noah's Ark! This is undoubtedly the best place in Tanzania to see black rhinos. Marvel at the magnificent black-maned lions, cheetahs, hyenas, and thousands of flamingos at the crater lake. After your unforgettable crater safari, you'll return to Arusha – your heart filled with memories.

Customer testimonial
“Top-organized safari with fantastic memories
Safari Tanzania, as an intermediary, enabled us to have highly individualized planning and saved us the effort of comparing dozens of providers online. They adapted everything to our wishes, connected us with the ideal local team, and offered flexible, prompt support – a relaxed highlight full of lasting memories.
Many safari organizers pushed for a personal call, only to offer a package tour in the end. Safari Tanzania sent us an offer after the first email, which we then minimally adjusted and swapped out one accommodation. This saved my girlfriend and me a lot of effort. Thank you very much!
