“Everything perfect – great trip and great price
Our safari with Safari Tanzania was unforgettable! Thanks to their collaboration with local providers, they offered us a huge selection of accommodations. While other providers were often hard to reach and had limited options, Safari Tanzania put together a tailor-made tour perfectly suited to our budget and preferences. We saw the Big Five and experienced the Great Migration! Our guide was top-notch, and the organization ran smoothly. Absolutely recommended for a personalized and affordable dream vacation!

Daily Descriptions

Day 1: Flight from Zanzibar to the Serengeti
Your 4-day safari in Tanzania begins with a spectacular experience! You will be picked up from your hotel in Zanzibar and taken to the airport. Then you'll take off for an unforgettable flight directly into the wilderness.
The flight time is approximately 2 hours. Enjoy breathtaking aerial views! Below you, the turquoise coast of the Indian Ocean, the vastness of Tanzania, and finally the golden plains of the Serengeti will glide by. Landing will be at Seronera Airstrip, right in the heart of the park.
Your private guide will be waiting for you at the airstrip with the safari vehicle. Without wasting any time, your safari adventure begins right away! In the afternoon, you’ll experience your first game drive through the legendary Serengeti, a UNESCO World Natural Heritage Site since 1981 and one of the most spectacular wildlife areas on Earth.

Day 2: Full-day safari to follow the Great Migration
Today is all about the Serengeti and its unparalleled wildlife. After an early breakfast, you’ll set out to follow the legendary Great Migration.
The Great Wildebeest Migration is one of the world’s greatest natural spectacles! Whether you’re witnessing a dramatic river crossing, watching newborn wildebeest calves take their first steps, or simply taking in the endless horizons of the Serengeti plains. This 4-day safari in Tanzania offers experiences you won’t find anywhere else. With a picnic lunch in the bush, you’ll spend the entire day in the heart of the wilderness, surrounded by over 4,000 lions, 1,000 leopards, and countless zebras and gazelles.

Tag 3: Full-Day Safari and Big Five Experience
Today is all about the legendary Big Five! After breakfast, you’ll explore different regions of the Serengeti to experience the diversity of the wildlife up close. Your experienced guide knows the best spots to spot lions, leopards, elephants, buffalo, and—with a little luck—rhinos as well.
The Serengeti covers approximately 14,763 square kilometers; „Serengeti“ means “endless plain” in the Maasai language. Today, you’ll understand why. From the classic savanna landscape dotted with acacia trees to the vast grassy plains, each region offers unique encounters. During your 4-day safari in Tanzania, you’ll enjoy both morning and evening game drives, when the animals are most active.

Day 4: Morning game drive and return flight
The last day of your 4-day safari in Tanzania starts early—and it’s well worth it! At sunrise, the animals are especially active: birds are waking up, big cats are on the hunt, and the golden morning sun bathes the savanna in a magical light.
After an unforgettable final game drive, your guide will take you to Seronera Airstrip around noon. During your flight back to Zanzibar, you can admire the spectacular landscapes from above one last time, the endless expanses of the Serengeti below you, as you return to the Spice Island with a heart full of memories. A transfer to your hotel awaits you at Zanzibar Airport. Your safari ends, but the memories last forever!

Customer testimonial
“Top-organized safari with fantastic memories
Safari Tanzania, as an intermediary, enabled us to have highly individualized planning and saved us the effort of comparing dozens of providers online. They adapted everything to our wishes, connected us with the ideal local team, and offered flexible, prompt support – a relaxed highlight full of lasting memories.
Many safari organizers pushed for a personal call, only to offer a package tour in the end. Safari Tanzania sent us an offer after the first email, which we then minimally adjusted and swapped out one accommodation. This saved my girlfriend and me a lot of effort. Thank you very much!
