“Everything perfect – great trip and great price
Our safari with Safari Tanzania was unforgettable! Thanks to their collaboration with local providers, they offered us a huge selection of accommodations. While other providers were often hard to reach and had limited options, Safari Tanzania put together a tailor-made tour perfectly suited to our budget and preferences. We saw the Big Five and experienced the Great Migration! Our guide was top-notch, and the organization ran smoothly. Absolutely recommended for a personalized and affordable dream vacation!

Daily Descriptions

Day 1: Flight from Zanzibar to the Serengeti
A day of contrasts! Your 4-day Tanzania safari begins with a spectacular adventure – a bush plane flight from Zanzibar straight into the wilderness. Swap the turquoise sea for the golden savannas of the Serengeti. The flight time is about 3 hours and 45 minutes, and from a bird's-eye view, you'll get your first glimpses of the untouched nature.
Important to know: Strict luggage regulations apply – a maximum of 15-20 kg per person in a soft duffel bag without a hard shell. Upon your arrival at one of the airstrips in the Serengeti, your guide will greet you, and your safari adventure will begin immediately. Look forward to breathtaking views and your first wildlife sightings on the same day!

Day 2: Serengeti National Park Safari
Welcome to the Serengeti! The name comes from the Maasai language and means „endless plain“ – and today you will understand why. Welcome to the pulse of the wilderness! Serengeti National Park covers about 14,763 square kilometers and has been a UNESCO World Natural Heritage Site since 1981.
On extended game drives, you will experience the impressive predator population with over 4,000 lions, 1,000 leopards, and 3,500 hyenas. The Seronera Valley is considered the „big cat capital“ of Africa! Depending on the season, you will observe parts of the legendary Great Migration, with over 1.5 million wildebeest and hundreds of thousands of zebras and gazelles migrating through the savannah. During the calving season in February, up to 8,000 wildebeest calves are born here daily – a top-class natural spectacle!

Tag 3: Safari in Ngorongoro Crater
Today, the absolute highlight of your 4-day Tanzania safari awaits you – the descent into the Ngorongoro CraterThis largest intact, non-flooded volcanic caldera in the world was formed about 2.5 million years ago and is considered the „eighth natural wonder of the world.“.
It feels like Noah's Ark! On an area of approximately 260 square kilometers live around 25,000 large mammals – the highest predator density in Africa. Here you have excellent chances of spotting all the Big Five in a single day, including the rare black rhinoceros. The area has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1979 and a World Cultural Heritage Site since 2010. A special feature: the Maasai live here in harmonious coexistence with wildlife – a fascinating combination of nature and culture!

Day 4: Return flight to Zanzibar
The last day of your 4-day Tanzania safari has arrived. Enjoy an unforgettable breakfast with a view of the wilderness. Depending on your flight schedule, you'll have time for one last game drive – observe majestic lions or graceful giraffes in the golden morning sun.
Afterwards, your guide will take you to the airstrip for your return flight to Zanzibar. As you glide through the air, you can admire the spectacular landscapes one last time from above – the majestic Ngorongoro Crater and the endless expanses of the Serengeti. With your heart full of memories, you land back on the Spice Island. Your safari ends, but the memories will last forever!

Customer testimonial
“Top-organized safari with fantastic memories
Safari Tanzania, as an intermediary, enabled us to have highly individualized planning and saved us the effort of comparing dozens of providers online. They adapted everything to our wishes, connected us with the ideal local team, and offered flexible, prompt support – a relaxed highlight full of lasting memories.
Many safari organizers pushed for a personal call, only to offer a package tour in the end. Safari Tanzania sent us an offer after the first email, which we then minimally adjusted and swapped out one accommodation. This saved my girlfriend and me a lot of effort. Thank you very much!
