Customer testimonial
“Everything perfect – great trip and great price
Our safari with Safari Tanzania was unforgettable! Thanks to their collaboration with local providers, they offered us a huge selection of accommodations. While other providers were often hard to reach and had limited options, Safari Tanzania put together a tailor-made tour perfectly suited to our budget and preferences. We saw the Big Five and experienced the Great Migration! Our guide was top-notch, and the organization ran smoothly. Absolutely recommended for a personalized and affordable dream vacation!

Daily Descriptions

Day 1: Moshi – Tarangire National park
Welcome to Tanzania! Your 5-day safari in Tanzania begins at 8:00 AM, when you'll be picked up from your hotel in Moshi. The Tarangire-Nationalpark, which spans an area of 2,850 km², is a true paradise for wildlife lovers and is located 120 km away.
This park is the land of giants! Tarangire is famous for its massive elephant herds and the majestic, ancient baobab trees that dominate the landscape. After a picnic lunch, you'll set out on your first game drive. Keep an eye out for lions, leopards, buffalo, zebras, oryx antelopes, and impalas. With over 450 bird species, this park is also a paradise for birdwatchers. An unforgettable start to your safari adventure!

Day 2: Tarangire – Serengeti National Park
Today, your journey takes you to the world-famous Serengeti! The drive through the Ngorongoro Highlands is an experience in itself — enjoy a spectacular panoramic view of the Ngorongoro Crater from above.
Welcome to the pulse of the wilderness! As soon as you crest the ridge, the endless expanse of the Serengeti spreads out before you — 18,000 km² of pure Africa, as far as the eye can see. The name comes from the Maasai language and means "endless plains." More than two million large mammals call this ecosystem home: over one million wildebeest, hundreds of thousands of zebras, and Thomson's gazelles. Lions, cheetahs, and hyenas follow the massive herds on their legendary migration. A true highlight of any 5-day Tanzania safari!

Day 3: Full-Day Safari in the Serengeti
A full day in the heart of the wilderness! After breakfast, you'll head out on extended game drives through the Serengeti — with a very special stop at the famous Olduvai Gorge.
This is where Dr. Louis and Mary Leakey made their groundbreaking discovery of the oldest human ancestors. After a brief talk on the archaeological excavations and the geology of the gorge, you'll visit the small museum — a fascinating glimpse into the Cradle of Mankind. In the afternoon, you'll continue your safari in the Seronera region, known as the "Big Cat Capital" of Africa. From sunrise to the breathtaking starry night sky, you'll become one with the rhythm of nature.

Day 4: Serengeti to the Ngorongoro Crater
Today, the crowning highlight of your 5-day Tanzania safari awaits you — the descent into the Ngorongoro Crater begins! Dieses Juwel ist die größte intakte vulkanische Caldera der Welt und ein UNESCO-Weltnaturerbe.
Step into your very own Noah's Ark! After descending to the crater floor, Lake Magadi awaits you – a large, shallow alkaline lake in the southwest of the crater. Here you'll watch thousands of flamingos, hippos and countless water birds against a spectacular backdrop. Enjoy a picnic lunch by the lake before continuing your afternoon game drive through this unique ecosystem. The wildlife density here is the highest on the entire continent – an unforgettable day!

Day 5: Lake Manyara National Park to Arusha
The final day of your 5-day Tanzania safari takes you to the picturesque Lake Manyara National ParkThis compact park is famous for its tree-climbing lions and the vast flocks of flamingos on its alkaline lake.
Enjoy one last thrilling game drive along the Great Rift Valley. The park offers a stunning variety of landscapes – from dense groundwater forest and grassland to the shores of the shimmering lake. After a picnic lunch, you'll travel back to Arusha, where you'll be dropped off at your hotel or the airport. With a heart full of memories, your unforgettable safari adventure in Tanzania comes to an end!

Customer testimonial
“Top-organized safari with fantastic memories
Safari Tanzania, as an intermediary, enabled us to have highly individualized planning and saved us the effort of comparing dozens of providers online. They adapted everything to our wishes, connected us with the ideal local team, and offered flexible, prompt support – a relaxed highlight full of lasting memories.
Many safari organizers pushed for a personal call, only to offer a package tour in the end. Safari Tanzania sent us an offer after the first email, which we then minimally adjusted and swapped out one accommodation. This saved my girlfriend and me a lot of effort. Thank you very much!
