Ang'ata Migration Camp - Northern Serengeti Mara River Crossing

Ang’ata Migration Bologonja Camp

Bologonja tented camp, an hour from the Mara River

  • Luxury

Ang’ata Migration Bologonja stands near the Bologonja ranger post in Serengeti National Park. The Mara River is an hour’s drive away. The camp is only open from July to October, and like all Ang’ata camps it is a mobile camp. There are twelve large guest tents, including a family unit made up of two tents. Each has its own bathroom with shower, flush toilet and dressing table, and depending on your preference it is set up with a king-size bed, two single beds or three beds. Meals are served in the dining tent: the chefs prepare breakfast, lunch and dinner fresh every day, with vegetarian, vegan or gluten-free options on request. In the lounge you meet other travellers and swap stories about what the day has brought. A balloon flight is best reserved in advance through the camp. And in the evening, weather permitting, “Bush TV” is on: that’s what the campfire is called here. Only one channel, and still nobody reaches for the remote.
