At Blue Moon Resort in Jambiani on Zanzibar, one question matters above all: with or without your own pool? The hotel pool sits right on the beach beneath palm trees, and there is also a private stretch of beach. The sea-view restaurant serves Tanzanian dishes, grills and international cuisine, and the bar mixes cocktails and smoothies, with service on the beach too. If you want to be active, take out a jet ski, canoe or pedalo, or explore the surroundings by quad bike.
