Lahia Tented Lodge
Tented lodge on a hill in the Western Corridor
Swimming with binoculars? At Lahia Tented Lodge that comes pretty close. The lodge sits on a hill in the Serengeti’s Western Corridor, from which you look out over the central Serengeti, and from the main building the view extends all around. The Mbalageti flows close by, a natural migration route for wildebeest and zebras. When the herds are passing through, you can even watch the Great Migration from your tent. The 25 tents stand on raised wooden platforms, each with a private terrace and a bathroom with bathtub and outdoor shower. Electricity is available around the clock. The main building houses the lounges, dining room and infinity pool, where you can cool off while keeping an eye on the plain. Every evening a campfire is lit, with drinks and snacks at sunset, and in good weather dinner is served outside under the stars. After a day on game drives, a massage awaits on request.
