Lion’s Paw Camp stands high on the eastern rim of the Ngorongoro Crater, only a few minutes from the road down into the crater. The safari tents have wooden floors, private bathrooms and panoramic windows. The best argument, though, comes from the alarm clock: if you sleep here, you are down in the crater ahead of most other visitors in the morning, when the light is at its finest.
