Mpingo Ridge Lodge

Right at the top of an escarpment, with sweeping views over the Tarangire River, which carries water all year round here: that’s where you’ll find Mpingo Ridge Lodge. The 15 generous suites are carefully spaced out, each with its own bathroom, private deck and a sunken outdoor lounge that turns into a bed for an afternoon siesta. The real showpiece is outside: a private bathtub under the open sky. One of the suites has two bedrooms, intended for families and friends travelling together. In the raised main building you’ll find a large lounge with bar, indoor and outdoor dining areas, a spa and a pool. Mornings start on foot, later it’s off on a game drive, and after dark even on a night drive. In between? A sundowner, of course.
