Ngorongoro Safari Lodge

Ngorongoro Safari Lodge stands in the south of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, about 50 kilometres south-west of Karatu and around 140 kilometres from Arusha. It has ten tents for two guests each, plus a large area for the restaurant and reception. After the game drive the pool awaits, the bar serves the sundowner, and there is Wi-Fi too, in case someone back home wants to see the photographic evidence. The kitchen serves international cuisine and caters for special dietary requirements. If you like, you can go birdwatching, take a nature walk or watch traditional dances. With ten tents, it all stays small and manageable, more tented camp than big hotel.
