The boat safari shows Lake Manyara from the angle that suits it best: from the water. The alkaline soda lake covers around two thirds of the park's area. From the boat you watch waterbirds, hippos and, at a distance, animals on the shore too, without the noise of a jeep engine getting in the way. Please note: whether the boat goes out depends on the water level, which fluctuates a great deal here.
