Chemka Hot Springs

The Chemka Hot Springs, also known as the Kikuletwa Hot Springs, are spring-fed pools of clear turquoise water between Arusha and Moshi, ringed by fig trees and palms. You swim in the middle of the dry savannah, the water stays at a pleasant temperature, and rope swings hang from the trees for jumping into the pool. The excursion fits well at the start or end of a safari from Arusha. A note for planners: the drive there runs along dirt tracks and takes a fair while depending on where you start; your quote will give you the exact times.
