The Datoga are a cattle-herding people who live, among other places, in the south of the Eyasi basin; they have their own blacksmith families, who make arrows, knives, spears and jewellery. When you visit a community, you see everyday life, crafts and livestock farming up close, and your guide helps you get talking. Please note: this is a visit to people, not an item on a zoo programme. Photos only with permission; your guide will gladly translate the question.
