The boat trip to the dolphins sets off early in the morning, when the sea is at its calmest. From the dhow you look out for the dolphins and watch them leap; half a day is set aside for this. They are usually sighted, but never guaranteed: these are wild animals. We advise against swimming with the dolphins so as not to disturb them; it is a good sign if an operator takes the same view.
