Salaam Cave lies near Kizimkazi on Zanzibar's south coast: a limestone cave with dripstone formations and a clear pool in which sea turtles swim. You climb down a steep stone staircase to the pool, swim with the turtles and may feed them seaweed, which the team on site provides. Water shoes are strongly recommended for the stairs.
