Zanzibar Stone Town Tour

Stone Town is the historic heart of Zanzibar City and has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2000. On the half-day walking tour, your guide leads you through the winding alleys to the landmarks of the island's history: the site of the former slave market with its memorial, the House of Wonders and the Sultan's Palace, with the spice and fish markets in between. Here, an honest account of the history of slavery is part of the tour, and it is not an easy part. Afterwards, a coffee at the Zanzibar Coffee House and the bustle of the harbour help you arrive back in the present.
