Masek Tented Lodge
Tented lodge on the shore of Lake Masek in Ndutu
Masek Tented Lodge lies right on the shore of Lake Masek in the Ndutu area, and from December to April the Great Migration passes through here. The 30 spacious tents stand on raised wooden platforms and have a private bathroom and an outdoor shower. From your private terrace you can watch the local wildlife without leaving your tent. The main building houses the lounge and dining room with a large terrace above the lake, and there is also a pool. The lodge operates on a full-board basis. In the evening a campfire is lit, and with a cocktail in hand you watch the sun go down. Solar panels generate the electricity, and the water is rainwater, collected during the rainy season. So you can shower with a clear conscience, just perhaps not for hours on end. The Ndutu airstrip is four kilometres away.
